A big welcome to Benjamin Balog, our new Apprentice Administration Assistant in New Business

Meet our new starter, Benjamin. He joined us in August and has taken on her new role as Apprentice Administration Assistant in the New Business team brilliantly.
We caught up with Benjamin to find out how he's finding everything so far.
How have you found it at Sort Legal so far?
Good, the people here are nice and the whole working environment is also very comfortable.
What attracted you to Sort Legal?
The fact that the company treats its employees with respect and equality makes everyone feel valued.
How did you hear about Sort Legal?
Through the government website for apprenticeships.
Why did you choose to start your Apprenticeship in Conveyancing?
I felt it was the right place to kickstart my career.
Who inspires you?
To me, it’s not a case of who but what. I am inspired by life itself and the whole anonymity behind it; not knowing what tomorrow brings is, in my opinion, more precious than anything as it gives meaning to the new day.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
None, because every superpower would have a drawback regardless of what you choose.
Someone could say “I want to fly”, but if you think about it you can't fly to high because of breathing issues, you can't fly too low of the fear of being seen. And if you are seen, then knowing people/humans, you would be experimented on, so your best option would be to stay hidden and have no one know.
Someone could say “I want to move at the speed of light”, but you can’t because you would burn your body at that speed.
So, all in all, I’m ok with being myself; it gets boring at times but it's better than being wary of every little thing in the world.
What is your all-time favourite movie?
Don’t have one; I usually read novels and books.
Tell us something few people know about you?
I’m smarter than I let off. I understand psychology and philosophy to quite a high degree.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Japan, I like the trees.
What advice would you give something just starting their career in conveyancing?
“Go for it, it's fun.”
