Meet our new Conveyancing Case Handler - Vicky Foster

Based in our Cardiff office, we'd like to introduce you to Vicky Foster who joined us in February 2024.
Now that she's settled into her new role with us at Sort Legal, we took some time to get to know her more...
Where did you first hear about Sort Legal, and what attracted you to join us?
I had been looking for a new opportunity for a few months and the interview gave me a really good insight into how kind
and supportive everyone was. It goes a long way in a role that can be rather stressful at times!
What did you do before joining us?
I have been in conveyancing for the last 10 years since graduating university.
Tell us something few people know about you.
I once spoke to the Queen as she visited our school and she came over to me for a chat.
How would you spend your perfect day off?
I would enjoy a lie-in and then go for a walk (weather dependent), perhaps do some shopping and go out for some nice food.
What is your favourite holiday destination?
Dubai, it's not as strict as a lot of people tend to believe; it's very clean and the weather is reliably hot!
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
Australia – I have family who live there, there seems to be a lot more to do outdoors as the weather is usually much nicer.
How have you found your first few months at Sort Legal?
I have really enjoyed it, everyone is so friendly and helpful and I don’t ever feel like I can’t speak to someone if I need assistance with anything.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I am considering whether to take the next step and qualify – despite telling myself I’d never sit another exam again after university.
Describe your dream home.
On the seafront with nice big windows to take in the views.
What can you bring to Sort Legal?
I always want to build on my experience and knowledge and will never pass up the opportunity to take on extra training or complex files to develop myself.
