How have you found it at Sort Legal so far?

It’s been amazing! The team gave me a warm welcome and is always supportive. The training has been excellent, which has allowed me to learn quickly and start handling cases with confidence.

What made you want to join our Sort Legal team?

I wanted to start my legal career in conveyancing, and Sort Legal seemed the perfect place. I appreciate the commitment to professional growth and development resources this company offers, as they align with my career goals.

What did you do before joining Sort Legal?

After completing my law degree, I decided to work in civil service as it seemed a good place to gain valuable experience. I was working in HM Passport Office for a while, but soon I realised that practicing law is where my passion lies.

Tell us something a few people know about you...

I really enjoy baking and reading during my free time, so I am hoping, one day, I will open my own aesthetic bakery with a cute library!

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

I would love to go for a long holiday in South Korea! It seems such a cool place to stay with the most amazing food and entertainment industry.

I am particularly drawn to Canada as well, so hopefully I can go there one day with my family when it’s not too cold!

What’s your favourite movie and why?

I don’t have one, but I do love a cute rom-com during cozy season! I also enjoy watching thrillers with my siblings.

What did you want to be when you were young?

I was very set on the idea of becoming a pilot, but I am afraid of heights, so I guess I was very delusional. Later one day, I decided I wanted to be a woman in law, so I hope my younger self is proud now.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?

I’m hoping to complete more qualifications and gain valuable experience in different areas of property law, allowing me to advance in my career and contribute at a higher level.

What do you think you can bring to Sort Legal?

A strong work ethic, a proactive attitude, and a passion for law.

What would you say to someone looking to start a career in Conveyancing?

Go for it! It’s a good area of law to practice as it is fast-paced, so you won’t get bored. Time management is crucial as there are many deadlines. Also, focus on developing interpersonal skills, the work entails communicating with several parties.
